Our Story and Mission
In 2018, we set out to create a sustainability-focused infrastructure advisory and development firm grounded in creativity, integrity, and impact. We envisioned a company where talented people and trusted partners have the freedom to do their best work, protecting our clients’ capital and reputation by delivering and managing infrastructure that performs.
Given this mission, we chose to name our company after Vico Road, a winding coastal road in Dublin close to where our Co-Founder, Brian Cullen grew up. The views of Killiney Bay and the Wicklow mountains along the water’s edge are stunning and a reminder of just how essential it is to actively preserve the world’s natural resources and ensure a sustainable future.
Owner’s Advisory & Operations Management
VICO serves as an independent owner's advisor from planning through long-term operations, helping clients define strategy, evaluate options, and make confident decisions before capital is committed. We bring deep technical and commercial expertise to every engagement, conducting independent operating model and business case analysis, lifecycle cost modeling, staffing assessments, and capital delivery evaluations. We advise on the strategies, systems, and organizational structures that determine how infrastructure performs over its operating life. Our role is to protect the owner's interest, simplify complexity, and ensure infrastructure decisions reflect long-term priorities.
Infrastructure Development & Capital Management
We guide clients through the full arc of infrastructure delivery, integrating technical oversight and commercial structuring with disciplined project management. As the owner's representative, we review design packages at key milestones, structure procurement and contracts, manage schedule and budget governance, and surface risks before they become problems. For multi-year capital programs, we provide continuous project management that maintains accountability and protects the client's investment from concept through startup.
VICO Intelligence
VICO Intelligence applies AI and advanced analytics to uncover relationships across operational, financial, and infrastructure data that traditional analysis misses. Most operators monitor individual systems in isolation. VICO Intelligence correlates across them, connecting treatment performance with energy consumption, weather patterns with flow variability, maintenance history with asset risk, and capital spending with operational outcomes. These connections reveal opportunities to right-size infrastructure, reduce cost, and improve performance that siloed analysis cannot see. VICO Intelligence turns practitioner expertise and project-specific knowledge into analytical depth that makes infrastructure smarter to plan, build, and operate.
